Perhaps it would be interesting to compare the German numbers with the Swedish new registrations for KIA Niro? (it seems as if the "normal" hybride and plug-in versions are not separated in these figures) From January 2017 to November 2017: 2899 - HYUNDAI IONIQ had 730 From August 2016 (when the Niro was introduced in Sweden) to November 2017 3390 HYUNDAI IONIQ had 862 here Quite impressive numbers for the Niro in a substantially smaller marked than Germany - the HYUNDAI IONIQ numbers are not so…

OK laun3006 I am here and awake- finally Nice to see another Schwede here - though I suspect you're not really that - your excellent Deutsch gives you away....... Any way - I have had my 2017 Niro (in Swedish terms with "Pluspack 1" ) for a year and I am extremely satisfied with it - even though I come från several MB och BMWs. I have 22000 km on the meter now, with an average consumption of 4,53 over the whole year. When driving in Germany in August I reached around 3,9........ mostly depending…

Just to make a comparison to Schweden, where the price for the 15000 km service is about 180€ and 350€ for the 30000km service. The prices are negotiable - if you´re a nice and friendly person you might get a discount - I paid 150€ for my first service - but then I am extremely friendly No free Leihwagen though.

(Zitat von Typpes) I tanked in Heiligenhafen with that result on my way home to Sweden after driving around in Nord-Deutschland for about 3000 km.....

Thanks! 839 km with 4,1 is good, but sometimes up and other times down - that´s live isn´t is

(Zitat von miggy) I can´t understand all the reports about problems either....... My Niro works exactly as miggy´s and I find the Tempomat reliable and accurate. The "10er Schritten" are very comfortable, but I usually use the "kurzen Wippen" to adjust the speed in order avoid the engine rushing to much....

Tack så mycket, Typpes!

I am glad that you noticed my (Niro´s) achievement, laun! I think that the Norwegian roads helped - living so close to Norway we sometimes make an excursion there..... fantastic landscape, excellent country roads and very nice people!

@quasicasi: Well...... KIA´s name strategy beets me Different names in different countries - in Sweden they sell three models: Base model, Pluspak 1 (with 7" Navigation, intelligent cruise control, lane assistent.....) and Pluspak 2 (sun roof, all leather, electric seat adjustment....) and I have the middle Pluspak 1. It was delivered with the 16" original rims with a separate plastic hubcap and I bought winter tires on Alutec Singa 16". The Alutecs were a disaster in the winter - worked as a fa…

With full tank I drove 550 km yesterday and the display shows 3,8 l/100 km ...... a first for me! I´ll tank again later this week.

This topic might already have been covered here - sorry if that is the case In the Swedish technical specifications (and I suppose they say the say in Germany) Niro has a top speed of 162 km/h which of course it hasn´t. It´s much higher than that - 200? 210? What interests me here is NOT it´s top speed, which for me is totally unimportant, but the reason why KIA publishes that figure and not a more realistic top speed.

Hi all, As I am in the process of planning our yearly vacation trip to Germany this summer, I am naturally trying to get the most out of Niro´s navi. I usually planned our trips on my Mac and the latest 3-4 years in the Mac web version of HERE. When I am finished, all may POIs (hotels, interesting restaurangs and places) are synced to the HERE app on my iPhone, which I used to navigate with. This year I have bought a very fine program for PIOs and routes: GPX Editor bought from Apples Appstore. …
